Bear & Honey Candle Co.
A candle brand built one material decision at a time — foil versus matte, the weight of the tissue, the way a label wraps clean.
Brand Identity • Packaging Design • Signage Design • Photography
Bear and Honey came to us as a candle company that needed its whole world built — not just a logo, but the entire physical experience: what a customer touches, unwraps, and takes home. We built their identity from the ground up and then followed it everywhere it needed to live — the tin labels, the wax melt packaging, the hang tags, the gift cards, the tissue paper, the signage on their shelves, even the boxes their candle kits shipped in.

Brand Identity
There's something sacred about a candle. It's fire and scent and a little bit of ritual, and we wanted the branding to hold that — warm, a little wild, grounded in something older than trend. The bear-and-honeycomb mark became the anchor: soft enough to feel handmade, sturdy enough to survive a hundred label reprints and a spring collection refresh without losing itself.
Full-Service Packaging & Signage
This was full-service work in the truest sense. Packaging design for every vessel size and scent line. In-store signage that made their space feel like an extension of the brand, not an afterthought bolted onto it. Product and lifestyle photography that captured the candles the way they're meant to be seen — in use, glowing, part of someone's actual life. A fundraiser and student-label program that let the brand travel into schools and community groups without losing its identity. Even a gift card design, because the small things carry a brand just as much as the big ones.
Closing notes
What I loved about this project was how much of it lived in the details most people won't consciously notice — foil versus matte, the weight of the tissue paper, whether the tin label wraps clean at the seam. That's brand work, quietly: it's not just the logo, it's every material decision that either confirms the story or breaks it.
